My brother is as annoying as a fly buzzing around your head on a hot summer day. He annoys me so much, sometimes I just feel like moving out. I bet he feels that way a lot too. But, hey, that is my job as an older sibling. But one day I learned that maybe I have more than one job as his sister.
I had really never supported my brother during all of his ball games. I had never really been there for him. But he was always there for me. He supported me during my concerts all the time and was so nice to me about it. So why shouldn’t I be there for him when he needed my help.
After one of my concerts he said “That was really good Haley!” What he said made my day. Just then I realized that I needed to be there for him more often. I needed to be the role model for him. I learned a great deal that day. I have supported him as much as I could since then.
Now I take a lot of pictures of him, knowing that he will feel good about himself. And he does when he hears me cheering with my family. We all support him now as a whole family. As a whole team.
We still fight and we still nag each other. But that doesn’t make us love each other any less than we already do. I try to help him and make him a better person. He tries to make me be happy. We work together to be who we are. Together we make an extraordinary team.
My brother loves me. It is hard to tell sometimes, but I still know he does. Love can be hidden way deep down inside. I learned that from him. We fight all the time but I can never say I don’t love my brother. And he can never say he doesn’t love me.
